Halal Kitchen, Samcheong-dong

Image
I have been to South Korea, namely Seoul few times and every single trip, I went alone because it was hard to find anyone else to accompany me. As such, it was hard for me to go and eat at restaurants in South Korea as quite a lot of them were not solo-friendly (I had being denied few times) or I had to order for 2 as they had minimum order. Staircases to the Halal Kitchen, Samcheong-dong So, I was truly grateful when my friend whom I had barely interacted with after I left for Canada for second time, invited me to join her and her friends for lunch when I was in Seoul last year. I suggested that we go for lunch at the Halal Kitchen, Samcheong-dong because I have always wanted to try the food at the Halal Kitchen, Samcheong-dong :) Finding the restaurant was not hard because I was familiar with the area. I think it's hard for you to get lost once you have arrived at the Samcheong-dong. You just have to keep your eyes open, okay? :) Bulgogi (불고기) and Samgyetan

My Songs of June 2020

Image
June was all about me reflecting on how much time I have wasted, being unproductive during the MCO period. I know I could have done better but yeah, there's nothing that I can do now that the time has passed :( It was also a month that I spent quite a lot of time on thinking about my previous goals and my future. I'm far away from where I pictured myself would be, so I obviously have a lot to work on. However, I try not make myself stressed with the what ifs and the unknown at the same time. After all, my days in this worlds are numbered, no? Mido & Falasol (Parasol) (미도와 파라솔) - Me to You, You to Me (너에게 난, 나에게 넌) I haven't stopped listening to this song ever since it was released. My heart was just so happy that we finally got everyone in Mido & Falasol to sing together 💓 It also did not help because I have always loved this song since I discovered it few years ago. So yeah, this song will definitely remind me of June 2020. Jeon Mi Do (전미도) - I

Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk @ The Alley, Bandar Bukit Tinggi

Image
As I mentioned in my post;  Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee @ The Alley, Hongdae , the only drink that I fancy from The Alley is Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk and The Alley Malaysia make a better Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk. The Alley, Bandar Bukit Tinggi I think I've been to at least three outlets of The Alley Malaysia; The Alley, SS15 Subang Jaya; The Alley, SS2 Petaling Jaya; and The Alley, Bandar Bukit Tinggi and I can say that The Alley, Bandar Bukit Tinggi makes the best Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk out of three. Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk (Large) MYR 16.90 The Alley, Bandar Bukit Tinggi is my favourite outlet because they have never failed to make the delicious Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk. The drink is sweet and the tapioca balls are chewy. The taste is consistent and it's perfect for my liking. PSA: The Alley now offers large size option for  Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk. I have been thinking about a lot of random things lately. Things that I don't really have time or things that I don't allow myself to think about if I were 'busy' with my so-called regular life. 1. On loving my cats. I think I love my cats as if they were my own kids. I love them so much that I start spending too much money on them. The amount that I have spent on them during this MCO made me want to cut my credit card. I don't have an income right now so it definitely took a toll on my savings. I also became too sensitive and too attentive on anything cats. My family rolled their eyes whenever I made cat-related requests. They also find it amusing when they saw me crying because of my cats. 4/9 of my cats :) Babies just turned 4 months the other day. I can't help but to wonder, is this how my friends feel about their kids? You just want the best for them even at your own expense? You will keep loving them even though they might have love an

Sopoong, IOI City Mall

Image
Does anyone remember my first post on Sopoong, IOI City Mall 4 years ago? I can't believe that it's been 4 years since I first tried eating at Sopoong, IOI City Mall and how my much my thoughts on Sopoong have changed 😉 Sopoong, IOI City Mall My sisters and I went to the Sopoong, IOI City Mall the weekend right before the MCO was first implemented by the government. It was all because I have been craving Korean food for few weeks prior to our outing. Thanks to my sister for insisting me to go out with them that I got to fulfill my craving. Otherwise, I would be left with my craving unfilled for few months. Sopoong, IOI City Mall This is an irrelevant note but I have always loved the interior of Sopoong, IOI City Mall. So eyes-pleasing and quite calming provided if it is not congested with a lot of customers. My advice to those wanting to dine it at the Sopoong, IOI City Mall, please avoid the busy times and request to be seated far from the kitchen if you

Hospital Playlist (슬기로운 의사생활) (2020)

Image
Hospital Playlist (슬기로운 의사생활) or Wise Doctor Life (whichever you call it) was a drama that I picked up because of few reasons. Firstly, it's the second installment of Wise Life series ( Prison Playbook is the first one). I love Prison Playbook (and other dramas directed by Shin Won Ho) so much so I figured I might not want to miss this drama. Secondly, I read Jo Jung Seok (조정석) & Yoo Yeon Seok (유연석) will be in this drama. I was instantly sold. I know I'm easy 😛 Snippet of the drama (From AsianWiki ) "Wise Doctor Life" depicts the stories of doctors, nurses and patients at a hospital. 5 doctors all entered the same medical university in 1999. They are now friends and work together in the same hospital. Credit: Here My thoughts Please say hello to the *newly appointed* best Korean drama in my life! Misaeng: Incomplete Life , has finally came down to the second best after 6 years holding the title; The Best Korean Drama in My Life . I thought

Tealive Bobalicious Ice-Cream @ Tealive, AEON Bukit Tinggi

Image
Tealive Bobalicious Ice-Cream MYR 2.20 (with drink purchased) Managed to grab two of these Tealive Bobalicious Ice-Cream when we were out recently. I paid the with drink purchased price, hence they costed me MYR 2.20 each. Otherwise, they should be MYR 2.50 each Loved the ice cream so much though mine was quite hard and too cold as it just came out from the freezer. Didn't get to see the bubbles inside the ice-cream as the ice cream was almost solid frozen, but there were a lot of bubbles and they were so chewy! So yeay! 😁 The ice-cream itself was so good! Kinda taste like my grandma's milk tea 💓 Perfect for my liking. I don't really order the Original Pearl Milk Tea if I go to Tealive (I'm a Malty Milk Tea through and through!) but if I were to order the Original Pearl Milk Tea, I hope it will taste just like the Tealive Bobalicious Ice-Cream! Highly recommended if you're a big fan of Tealive's Original Pearl Milk Tea or if the near

Rocksixteen Burger Ketam Lembut, Kota Warisan

Image
One thing that I surely miss to do especially during this MCO is eating out. I like eating out so much so that a huge chunk of my income is usually spent for eating out. Will the days of eating out comfortably come again? Hmm, I don't know and I don't think it will come any time sooner. Rocksixteen Burger Ketam Lembut, Kota Warisan Anyway, before the COVID-19 became serious and MCO was first implemented, my sister and I got a chance to go to the Rocksixteen Burger Ketam Lembut, Kota Warisan. My sister drove us there because I kept bugging her for a week by saying, "Sampai hati tak ajak orang pergi makan Char Kuey Teow! Orang dekat klia2 je pun." Char Kuey Teow Ketam Lembut Large Size MYR 21.90 We planned to get the Char Kuey Teow Ketam Lembut Small Size but they ran out of the ketam lembut small size. So, we reluctantly proceeded with the Ketam Lembut Large Size. Thankfully, we stuck with our decision to eat Char Kuey Teow Ketam Lembut beca
