My Silver Lining After a Cloudy Day

A few nights ago, I had a challenging night where a few guests were being so rude and sarcastic to me. Most of the time, I'll just feel down for a few hours before going back to the normal me. However, my energy was already at a low level on that particular night and I didn't get to recuperate until the next night.

My Silver Lining After a Cloudy Day

The next night I showed up to work, and I prayed that nothing similar would happen. Alhamdulillah, nothing happened. In fact, it was one of the calmest and quietest nights that I have ever had this year. What made that night better was this envelope that I found in my mailbox. It was a nice surprise because, i) I haven't received anything in my mailbox since a few months ago, and ii) it came from one of the sweetest guests that we received this year :)

This envelope was my silver lining after a cloudy day because I received it the next night right after the challenging night. It reminded me of my happy encounter and conversations with Anita a few hours before those things that dragged my energy down happened. It also acted as another reminder that while yes, I might have to deal with some difficult guests, however, I will also meet some kind and lovely guests like Anita :)

    1. Few guests were being too loud in the middle of night. They called to complain or more like yelling at me. While I do understand their frustration, I couldn't help being a lil bit down. After all, it wasn't me who caused the problem.

    2. dats the problem. bukan u yang buat bising tu.. tak pasal2 nak marah orang pula.
