Coconut Shake @ Sangkaya, IOI City Mall

Image
It was my first time trying Coconut Shake at Sangkaya and thankfully, I loved it! I loved it so much that I actually bought another cup of Coconut Shake before I left the IOI City Mall. I also visited another branch of Sangkaya to get another fix of Coconut Shake few days after this day #obsessed Coconut Shake MYR 9.30 The Coconut Shake was sweet, perfect for my liking. It was also coconut-y, if that makes sense to you. I can taste the coconut bits in my every sip. So good! So much happiness in every sip <3 The only thing that quite a letdown (just a tiny bit) was they used a little bit too much ice. Other that, it was perfect. I don't know how long Coconut Shake has been included in Sangkaya's menu but I hope it will stay in the menu in the future  #fingerscrossed And, I hope Sangkaya business will thrive, onwards and upwards because this girl will need her dose of something Sangkaya once in a while from now on :) Click here to see the menu for San

My Songs of July 2019

Image
Hello everyone! It's been a while since I last posted anything under My Songs of the Month. I decided to take a break during Ramadan which means I was supposed to skip May only but I accidentally skipped June as well because I was too occupied with other stuff. As such, I didn't really remember what happened in May and June and what songs that I listened to during those two months. Anyway, moving on to July. July was all about me feeling giddy due to attending Sweet Sorrow concert (I can't wait to unleash Farah, The Fangirl, lol!); and me feeling terribly anxious as I'm still unemployed after two months. I hope I'll get to hear a good news soon. Please pray for me so that I will no longer be an unemployed bum. Thank you! SBSB (스바스바) or Sweet Sorrow X The Barberettes (스윗소로우X바버렛츠) - I Love You (너를 사랑) I love their rendition so much that it hurts! <3 Keep telling my sister that this song and another song by Sweet Sorrow which is also called I

Boba Brown Sugar Milk Tea @ Secret Recipe, Jenjarom

I have no idea how boba craze started in Malaysia. As far as I remember, I suddenly started to see a surge of posts regarding boba on social media earlier this year. At first, I was like, "Boba? What boba?" I mean, we don't even call boba, boba before this. We called them bubble tea or pearl tea. Remember? Anyway, I have yet to try all things boba that are currently available in market. Mainly because all the outlets are quite far from my house and I don't have enough funds. #iamunemployedremember? Also, because I'm not adventurous enough to try new things.  Boba Brown Sugar Milk Tea - Large & Take Away MYR 8.50 However, my sister and I recently went to the Secret Recipe in Jenjarom to try their new Boba Series. Well, it was all because of my sister. She's kinda obsessed with Secret Recipe. lol. My sister ordered Boba Caramel Milk Tea (large & take away - MYR 8.50) while I ordered Boba Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Won't comment o

My 2019 South Korea Trip in Pictures

Image
In case you missed the train, I just got back from South Korea last week. It was such a last minute trip that I didn't have time to properly plan my itinerary for the whole stay. My main purpose of the trip was to attend Sweet Sorrow concerts and I did just that, and then some. Didn't get to go to few places that I really want to go, namely Seoullo 7017, and Hangang Park but I think I'm okay with it. After all, I managed to visit few places that were not on my list. You win some, you lose some, no? So, here's my 2019 South Korea trip in pictures. Decided to uploaded the ones that I took using Huji app because I love the aesthetic. Too bad that I forgot to use the app at some places, so this post will be kinda incomplete. It is what it is eh? July 10, 2019 Ready to take off! July 11, 2019 Up in the air! Lunch at The Halal Guys, Hongdae Hongdae Shopping Street; a street that I walked every day when I was there. 2019 스윗소로우 콘서

Nippon Sushi, Bandar Baru Bangi

Image
When Nippon Sushi, Bandar Baru Bangi went viral one or two years ago, I made a mental note to pay a visit to the restaurant. After all, I'm a #hantusushi . To make my mission of visiting the restaurant easier, I promised my sister who happens to love sushi as well that I will treat her at Nippon Sushi, in order to make her drive us there  #nasiborangtakdelesen #hidupkenabijak So, off I went to the Nippon Sushi, Bandar Baru Bangi with my sister few weekends ago. Tip: I would recommend you to make a reservation before coming as I heard the restaurant tend to be full almost all the time. It was almost full house when we were there. We were lucky that we got seated right after we arrived. Too bad that the only place available at the time was the one nearest to the entrance. lol. Anyway, we ordered various things. I was ready to fork about MYR 400 because both of my sister and I are #hantusushi but apparently, my sister's appetite was not as big as I though

Sweet Sorrow and I July 13, 2019 9:04 PM It was our first meeting after two years. So much things that I wanted to say but almost everything left unsaid. Maybe, when the right time comes, I'll let you know what exactly I felt. For now, I'll let you know that I'm grateful, truly grateful. 정말 감사해요, 오빠들.

How to Rent a WiFi Egg in Seoul, South Korea

Image
Wow, it's been a while since I last posted about anything South Korea eh. I have tens of posts pending about my 2016 trip. Not sure when they will be up though. Hahaha. Anyway, I'm going to share about how to rent a WiFi Egg in South Korea. Up until the day this post was posted, I've been renting a WiFi egg in Seoul, South Korea, solely in this way, every time I'm in South Korea. I'm aware there are cheaper options out there especially for Malaysians but back then, this was the most economical and convenient way for me. Mainly because I was always there for transit, not really for an actual trip. There are few WiFi egg providers in South Korea but I always choose SK Telecom because they offer the cheapest price and the rental fees are almost always free. Basically you only have to pay for the data which is priced at KRW 3,300 plus 10% VAT per day. They do, however, require KRW 100,000 deposit but it'll be just a hold on your credit card. PSA: I&

Because I'm such an easy customer. You give me cute stuff, I'm all yours :p It all started with me buying the Stainless Steel Straws. Few days after that, I found myself buying all these things. Pretty sure they were and are all wants, not needs. Whatever eh. As long as I'm happy :p
